My background is in magazine publishing, where I worked as a sub-editor and writer. In 2000 I moved over to digital publishing, working on the launches of several websites, including Red and Delia Online.
For eight years, I was deputy editor of Hearst Magazines’ Allaboutyou.com (now closed), responsible for three of the site’s six channels, covering health, travel and craft.
Freelance since 2015, I’ve provided writing and sub-editing for a wide range of print and digital clients, including the National Trust, Aptem, Prima, Saga, Woman, Woman’s Own, The Guardian, Coast, BBC Countryfile, Good Housekeeping and Country Living.
I deliver well-researched, well-written features or content on time, and to brief. My skills also include content creation, content strategy and SEO. Commercially focused work has included copywriting and blogging plus some digital consultancy work.
