I started my journalism career as a sub, on Home & Freezer Digest (now closed). Since then, I’ve worked on many, many titles, as permanent staff and freelance, across titles including Which?, Southwark Council’s website, BBC Good Food, The Lady, Homes & Gardens and Mortgage Strategy, and a year working at Hello! magazine in Madrid.

Since 2016 I’ve done regular weekly shifts on The Week website, and since 2019, I’ve been subbing the Culture Whisper website.

Currently, I provide proofreading services for learning delivery platform Aptem, working on everything from customer newsletters to white papers to its entire new website. Previously, I’ve proofread for Plan International, and Know Your Style, a book on fashion by Alyson Walsh.
